When people look at you, what do you think they see?

This self-published book features portraits of students alongside their responses to the titular question. The book is designed to resemble a CD case, complete with a CD containing audio recordings of the interviews and a booklet displaying the photographs and handwritten quotes from the participants.

Recognizing the decline of CD players, I included a QR code within the booklet, allowing viewers to access the interviews digitally.

With this photobook, I hope to gently remind us that we are often our own harshest critics, and that in our quiet struggles, we are never truly alone. Each soul carries its own hidden battles, its own tender insecurities, its own unfolding story. If we wish to meet the world with more grace and compassion, we must also learn to offer those same gifts inward.
