“Every Street I Have Lived On” shows photographs of the streets I have lived on – one in Mannheim, Germany and the other in Skogn, Norway. Like Edward Ruscha’s book “Every Building on the Sunset Strip”, the book is designed to unfold, allowing the panoramas to be viewed simultaneously. The book can be manipulated in a multitude of ways and read from both ends, offering different experiences.

This photobook reflects the split within me — half German, raised in the city; half Norwegian, drawn to the stillness of nature. Each turn of the page is guided by the dates of my journeys, moving between these two worlds that have shaped who I am.
